Hi Dan and Laura,
We just wanted to thank you once again for all of your help over the last couple months. We really appreciate everything you did for us, from the first time we spoke on the phone to our Stag and Doe and then of course the Wedding. We have had such awesome compliments about your music all the way from the ceremony, through dinner and of course the reception. You covered every little detail and did everything possible to make our day go smoothly. We loved the music you suggested for the ceremony and you knew exactly what music to play to keep everyone dancing all night. Not too mention handling all the requests so easily everything from swing, to country, and the top forty. You two made our two nights, both great successes.
We will not hesitate suggesting you to everyone we know, in fact we have already started.

AMAZING, AWESOME and SO MUCH FUN!!!
My dance floor was packed!! All night long (and every day since) people have been telling me that our DJ was so good, and so nice. He had and would play all our requests (and there were some interesting ones!) and our guests danced all night long.
When the speeches were going on, he had sound effects ready to go. I still have no idea whether it was planned or not, but when my new MIL(Mother In-law) was very strongly “hinting” about grandchildren during her speech, Dan right away had babies crying in the background – it was HILARIOUS!
Dan and Laura were the first vendors that I booked, and I was not disappointed. I would contact them for the strangest not-DJ-related things, (like what hotels they would recommend near Orangeville) and they were right there to make suggestions and help any way they could. Definitely book these two, you won’t regret it!!

We had an amazing wedding day and night. The day was everything I had hoped for and more. I just had an awesome time. I was so sad to see the day end!! I want my wedding back!!! LOL!! We had a great honeymoon in Hawaii too and again did not want it to end!!
Thank you guys so much for doing such a great job. Everyone had a blast! They all loved the music as I'm sure you saw from the packed dance floor!! Even the bridesmaids from the wedding next door came in and danced!! They told me in the bathroom that our wedding was more fun and that the music was so much better ...I agree!!!
You guys were just great and we really appreciate it. I am going to be posting a review of my day on 3 wedding websites (Frugal, Wedding Bells and Canadian Bride) and of course will be putting in an excellent review for you guys. I hope to work on this review next week. I was going to copy a link to your website into my review ...is this okay with you?

I Recommend Dan & Laura Forbes. They worked my wedding and truly went above and beyond. When one of my guests had an issue with the strap of her dress, Laura jumped in and managed to get her a safety pin to help out as well, Laura helped me out when the ribbon for my corset needed to be tied out of my way.
They were like my music and general problem solvers.

I have not yet had the opportunity to write as we’ve been settling in Winnipeg. But I do want to thank you for your services at our second reception. We recognized the challenges of the room and of having spoken to you on such short notice, however, you were very accommodating and the results were great. I really loved the music and even though I didn’t have time to enjoy it even more by dancing, I still really loved it all.

Dan and Laura were our DJ's for our June wedding and were GREAT! They were hands down, bar-none, the BEST choice we made for the wedding. We e-mailed them a couple of times prior to meeting, and booked them immediately. They are so easy going and fun, they played exactly the type of music we're into and wanted, they had the dance floor packed at all times, and they even had a surprise for us!! Laura actually took some photo's of the ceremony and cake and then e-mailed them to us. They even gave us a wedding card!
Whenever a song wasn't doing well (the dance floor started to clear), they would immediately change the song, which was wonderful. A lot of our guests gushed about how great they thought they were. They were very easy to communicate with(we did all our communications via e-mail), always got back to us in a timely fashion, and were totally onboard with everything we wanted. And to top it all off, they were frugal.
If I were you, I wouldn't put off hiring them!

This is just a quick note to say thank you for the wonderful job you did providing the music at our wedding reception. You did an incredible job of keeping the dance floor packed all night. We were a little unsure of whether to extend the the music for the extra hour, but once we did, we couldn’t believe how you managed to the whole crowd dancing again from 1 AM to 2 AM.

Well I am just getting around to sending thank you e-mails :) I wanted to thank both of you for making our wedding the BEST wedding we could have ever imagined. I knew from the get go that music makes or breaks a party ...and our party was FANTASTIC! I have been received calls and e-mails all week from our guests telling us this was the best wedding that they have ever been too - and a lot of that credit must go to the 2 of you. John and I had the pleasure of working with Dan as a DJ & MC for our wedding on July 19th, 2008.
He was prepared, professional and easy to get along with. The music was just as we had discussed before the wedding.
During the evening, he had a good feel for if a song was a bust and would change it up to keep the party moving. The music and lighting was perfect for our venue and everyone had a good time.
